The Shai-Hulud mod is a mod (modification) for the game: Emperor - Battle for Dune. It does a great deal of modifications to the game, it adds alot of new units and graphics to the game, and it changes some existing units too. Also, a few new buildings have been added, and the superweapons (the Death Hand, the Chaos Lightning, and the Hawk Strike) have been replaced with availabilities to build super infantry units, since superweapons are not as much fun when you can only fire them at targets and do nothing special with them. While these new superunits have some amazing surprises in store for you.
To list all major changes:
- House Atreides has been replaced by the Fremen, the Fremen received a whole new arsenal of units.
- The Fremen Subhouse has been replaced by House Atreides, the Atreides subhouse has 4 units
- The 2 other Houses have new units
- All other Subhouses have 1 new unit
- Some existing units have been improved (like the Tleilaxu Leech)
- Every unit and building has a new icon

I like this. It's more like the book and movies. Fremen and Atreides remnants join together to create a new, powerful army.
Only ONE mod for Emperor?
the oddest thing is that the game uses text files for the mod,so it need no modding programs for basic changes.
