Welcome to Seattle, 2053.
Last Updated : 01.17.2010.

Enjoy the videos but please note: it is a Work in Progress.
All environments are being blocked out and are not to be considered final product.
Using regular textures and shapes as opposed to orange and grey, helps visualize theme (even if it's just for colour).

We are Seeking ::

  • Another Programmer
    The backbone of any game. We have one, he feels we need two :)
  • Environment Artist(s)
    The maps are based on a fifteen year old 16 bit game. Half the reference world is just... black.
    As this product is to reflect the old Shadowrun (pre 2063), it is more of a Bladerunner-esque world.
  • Character Artist(s)
    The Shadowrun of 1993 had a fine variety of sprites, character portraiture and resultantly, several characters need to be generated (that is: concept'ed, modeled, textured, rigged, animated, exported, imported, sworn at, re-rigged, animated, exported, imported, rejoiced over, etc).

Started during the first months of the Source engine's release, this mod saw months of development and received random donations of effort from various parties.
As many mods do, it was curtailed by life and forgotten for some time.

Rediscovered and converted to the Orange box, the mod is now resurrected for continued and successful development, the mod is backed by a few interested and talented individuals, although there is a severe need for more hands.

If you're a talented/skilled fan of the original Super Nintendo Shadowrun series, or the Pencil and Paper, feel free to drop us a link to your portfolio.

This is awesome. I have beat Shadowrun on Super Nintendo a couple of times. I couldn't ever find another game, that had that futuristic slums type feel. I just found out that they made a Sega version, its pretty cool, its kind of like Fall Out 1 and 2. I appreciate that your making a Half Life mod of it. I hope you don't give up, I've waited so long for a remake. Shadowrun for the 360 went in the wrong direction, even though its a all right multiplayer. Awesome mapping by the way its starting to look good. I don't know if you can answer this question, but when is it going to be done? If you need any help let me know, your the best.

So, is this a remake of the SNES campaign? Or is it a brand new one? Personally, I like the plot of the Sega campaign better. "Man seeks answers behind brother's death" trumps "Man seeks answers after waking up with amnesia" every time. Also, the folks who developed the Sega campaign eventually went on to develop Vectorman (and one of the guys involved went to college with Doug TenNapel, so yeah).

I've been waiting a long time for something like this. I've spent hours with the original, and cant wait to see this title to it's fruition.
