Its been a while since I last posted some actual news for the mod, well here we are some news. I have been really busy lately re creating many of the models you saw in the screenshots I posted lately here on moddb. Completing an old wish of a friend of mine, he asked me to try and fit this ship into my mod. Its of course not a 'cannon' source. He called it the Megator SSD, but for the mod I will hand it over to Admiral Thrawn in his New Republic GCs.
Some time ago I posted some news about my Tyrant Cruiser addition to the mod, well this has been completely re vamped.
I also re edited the Victory II Cruiser (edited the engine glows) and re did the emitters.
Featuring now my re make of the MC80 Star Cruiser. Of course this has been remade, like with all the work I am re doing, with the effort to produce much higher quality textures and meshes for use in my mod.
I feel pretty pleased with some of the results you see here, but there is much more to come. I will post more news as soon as possible, but till then, please keep it civil, and comments are welcome.

What is the mod's status by now...?

Is the code still exploding in your face? Or is it going nicely?
I'm still up for beta testing. I've been working on a mod or two of my own lately (minecraft), but I still have time to help with this one. I've been following this mod since sote-mod.com, and I can't wait to see the finished product, since my last dev build is more than 5 years old... Yeah, I've been around forever.
Its out of my hands now TBH, really is up to what Nomada Firefox does with the final code. There is however lots of bugs to fix, so I would contact Nomada Firefox directly to ask about testing.
I want make one clarification.
-I have not intentions from make a mod like my mods with SOTE.
-I´m here only for finish the SOTE work.
-Nawrocki does not come with me to all the works.
-I go to make the work that nobody more wanted or nobody more know how it could be finish, perhaps even I can not finish it. Who knows......
-Nobody have put me conditions, it is false. I do not go to work with conditions. I have offered my work friendly without any condition. If I make SOTE as SOTE always was, it is because never my work looks equal.
Now if you go to start blame me and insult my work here, I will leave the proyect. Boring probably.
No disrespect or insult intended Nomada. I am a huge fan of your Alliance mod and your Star Trek mod looks really promising. But as I have said on your own Alliance mod page before, I do not find skins made by Nawrocki attractive. That's all. No offense to you or Nawrocki. It's just my humble opinion.
In the end I wish you luck on this and your other mods. :)
I repeat, I have not a team. Nawrocki works with some of my mods because he wants. Nothing more.
But It is not strange that you do not like his work. Each man has his own tastes. But I have not intentions from work making models or textures from SOTE with exception from the work shared between us. My work here will be code and prevent that it does not explode on our faces. I´m sure that I will enjoy to play the mod while I search bugs and other troubles, mainly from the modifications that I must make.

Yeah well, its exactly why I want you to finish the mod, for those reasons you just stated. I have one more model to work on I want to replace in game, but that really is it !! - I trust Nomada Firefox completely with the mod, and I know he will finish it as SOTE was always intended to be.
