Serious Sam :: Cel shaded is a project to render a entire game into a total new look, which gives it a very cool looking style and a lot of gameplay. We are also working on a new storyline to play with, and we will also add some other new features which will improve the gameplay a lot. A Multiplayer alpha is almost ready for testing. This Alpha will also have some tweaks in the coding to improve the gameplay. You can find the first ingame screens in the Gallery. For more info :
Ok, I bought the new Serious sam 2 game and in my opnion it was really bad. It doesn't have the old ss feeling which is logical since it has a new engine but the atmosphere has also changed. In any case let's just say I didn't like it. I reinstalled SS SE and immediatly I foudn this game

Ok, I bought the new Serious sam 2 game and in my opnion it was really bad. It doesn't have the old ss feeling which is logical since it has a new engine but the atmosphere has also changed. In any case let's just say I didn't like it.
I reinstalled SS SE and immediatly I foudn this game way better then the new one and decided to finish my project. Why? Well for starters because I like modding for this game and I actually want to release something this time. (Building 3 mods but no releases sofar)
I decided to continue working on this 1 since it has the most support and it's also the only one of which I am sure I can release a stable version.
I will update the website in a few weeks or so with a new layout and content. I will finish a MP version first and if it works out ok I will start on a single player version and merge it with the MP version ofcourse.
This means I will need to do alot of skinning and mapping so it can take a while. I have also added some new features considering coding but nothing big. Just added some tutorials which I thought would be cool to include.
Changes sofar are:
Extra Matrix camera view
Ingame scoreboard with Frag and Scorematches (On key press)
Cool Loading screen instead of the black screen.
I want to add some new features and game modes but I can't do this myself and tutorials are very rare for SS SE.
So if anyone would like to help me and this project out in spareti8me I would appreciate the help. Ofcourse you will be included in the credits and staff and test the mod before release.
Same goes for skinners. I am looking for someone who has experience with cel shading, but if not I have some tutorials which can get you on your way.
I,m doing this for fun in sparetime so expect updates regularly but only like once in a month. There should be more then 1 little model ofcourse. I will post a major update every month.
If you would like to help me out you can mail me here.
