A rebuild of the released 2015 SerenityJediEngine. Many code fixes and additional features. Supports single and multiplayer. I have given myself a whole year to finish the project, to avoid a rushed release. Serenity has given me permission to continue this project and I can now confirm this project will contain no plagiarised material. More details to follow as progress develops.

Manual Blocking is done by pressing the walk button + use button + direction

Running and holding the use button activates Auto blocking

This a stable build

Yes widescreen is in mp and sp

This is just an Update (Unofficial) for Jedi academy.
It goes in your base folder and will allow you to play the base game and all mods like normal Jedi academy except it includes the Serenitysabersystem giving manual blocking and improved combat mechanics.
All the engine dlls have had there names changed meaning it will not interfere with any other mods. Removing the need to swap files about when playing different mods.It works for sp and mp and has all the openjk fixes making it a nice clean engine.

Playing mods like movieduels 2 or Escape from yavin 4 or even the new version of KOTF 2.0 is very enjoyable.

Mp has an active class system so there are no more stormtroopers with lightsabers or anything like that and it feels more movie accurate.

I'm not sure why your getting that error.
However if yo open the pk.3 file in the base folder and delete the fonts folder you should get the normal jka font.

Great work! This last update really cleaned up some stuff. So, those old videos showing all the modded controls, are they still valid?
My suggestions are:
1) Better description of the combat system
2) Try to mimic more of the MB2 gameplay, like:
- walk/run(in mb2 the player does NOT walk like he is floating)
- resist force by walking (not sure how it works now, you need to crouch?)
- slap instead of kicking with WASD
- visual crosshair feedback when blocking
- MBlock when pressing attack + block
- In your mod, saber throw seems hard to block and might end up doing a
ton of damage even after blocking
3) Remove the "press Use to interact" message that pops up whenever you look at
an collectable item

Other than that,
I tested this with movie duels 2, really works fine but i believe that some blocking animations get messed up.
Are you going for a revamp of the original campaign or are you making a new base JA which player might choose when playing their mods?
Great work, i hope you keep at it.

Are cheats removed?
Also, in the prison level, when i was forced to use guns, the gunner enemies were behaving strangely. They were not shooting at me and made derpy moves like they were dancing, while avoiding fire.
