to my mind, here is no need to reinvent the wheel, you should focause on mission performance and the scenario with mapmaking, the models of units could be ported by approbation with other modmakers or not ;)
Yup, i will check other mods for models and voices. I have worked hard on missions and lot harder than in those textures. Now im working on Battle of Narvik. It got still lot work to do.
