Since by now all hope is gone that this mod will ever see the light of day, I've decided to upload the soundtrack separately:
( Moddb.com )
If at any time LordMalachat decides to revive this, I shall gladly remove the soundtrack until the completion of the mod.
Hope you enjoy it at least as half as I did making it.
This looks absolutely AMAZING! But I would be pleased to see more sunlight-pictures. Though the mod is meant to look dark, I guess the sun will nevertheless shine most of the time. ;)
When I'm finished balancing the Swadian faction, I'll start posting pics of the updated troops (possibily with more sunlight). Glad that you like it, the goal of the mod, as specified above, is to bring the ultimate experience to you, the player.
After 3 hours doing sceneing and other stuff, I'm sleepy like a drunken ****.
So good night everybody, keep an eye on the tracker, because when I wake up there'll be new scenes for you to droll.
Holy Sh*t Balls, this mod looks so awsome i am actually ashamed to call myself a modder. It just looks fantastic. I am really looking forward to playing it.
Well, I've never modded Warband in my whole life, but after passing almost 5 years on the Construction Kit of the various The Elder Scrolls releases, and by screwing around with the various mods offered by their vast community, it is pretty straight-forward. I always do the scenes with some ref. images, to get an idea of how a place should look. Like that 'bavarian' styled tavern that it is now in Praven.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up.
I have made mods for elder scrolls aswell, its a great way to start off modding, warbands is a whole other monster. How did you get the textures on the troops to look so good, it looks so dark its just awsome, man i hope you dont quit, i just listened to the music aswell, its really good. Im tracking this.
Download EnbSeries (from Boris Vorontsov's website - search it on Google) then adjust the variables in enbseries.ini to your linking. (Disable HDR ingame if you use this - or you'll have a massive FPS drop).
Download the Oblivion one, since it's the most performant.
And yeah, then create a color palette (with a gradient) in Photoshop and export it as .bmp. If the color palette is bright, the whole 'fake HDR' effect ingame will be bright. If the color palette is dark, then the game will assume a dark tint.
Glad to help.
Looks great can`t wait!
Don't worry, it'll be out this year.
