SAS is a mod for the UT2004 engine. Teams are broken down into two sides with the SAS and Opposing Forces. Players will enter a game and choose their team, player model, weaponry and equipment before starting out. There's also large numbers of tweaks and polishes to existing features such as the Overtime rules for Objective and Sabotage gametypes, new maps such as Raid (OBJ), Indonesia Conflict (SAB), Hotel (OBJ) and Blackhawk (OBJ). A new body armor system so all player models can select a vest or helmet, new sound effects for most of the weapons and a number of bugfixes. Sabotage pits one team on the defensive...

For your viewing pleasure Mr. Teck from S3 clan has assembled a new video showing 3.0 in action. Its about 60MB in size and can be found in this forum thread:
A BIG thanks goes out to Teck for all his work on this trailer.
During the week leading up to release we'll be updating all the media sections of the website plus both the SAS Manual and the Server Manual to reflect 3.0 content.
That's all for this update, we hope you enjoy the video and just maybe there might be another one available on release day.
