S.A.S Hotel November is intended to be a "Freeroaming" first person shooter, with a large range of weapons, vehichles, accessories and so on, plus all the fun bits thrown in. It will have character modification, medals and objective points systems. We also hope to include a levelling system for your "avatar". I say "avatar" because we want your character to represent you, hopefully via webcam with an in-built facial mapping system, but no promises. There will be random story and random objective events built in to prevent gameplay repitition. Further information and specifics will be included in our first update, which we hope to get to you soon.

brilliant idea :D fishing would be great, so how about a fishing rod and harpoon gun?

1 question: is there going to be any other human NPCs in the map? the idea sounds like it drifts into FPSRPG (guess for yourself) like Fallout 3, so having NPCs that could react to actions like stealing their car or murder would be a good idea.

Large range of weapons.... how about a few nice cars to go with it?

Love the name.
Yes there will be plenty of Human NPC's And the interaction will go beyond the "everybody must die" Mentality. Though there are no plans to stop the player killing absolutely everybody if they so wish. There is definitely going to be civilians and military characters of varying relationships to the player and civilians will react to the player in varying ways. eg; say a civilian gets a moment of bravery and tries to run the player over with their car. Alternately the civilian might hear gunfire, panick and floor it into the distance. There is definitely an FPSRPG influence, and we aim to allow the player the freedom to play it how they like. For example somebody mentioned how they expected a GTA style gameplay while another others expect a squad based tactical game and then there is also the expectation of an all guns blazing FPS when the truth is we want to make all these options available to the player. we aim to achieve this partially through a solid story with characters that hopefully have the same strength of personality as as the characters in the early Metal gear games (Ocelot,Raven,Raiden,Sniper Wolf)"These are just examples of the strength of personality and not what the characters will actualy be like"

Vehichles yes though the military library is the primary objective civilians won't be left out.
Wildlife will also be on the book for expansion.
I'm sorry for the gues for your self impression you get, we are working towards an update to give people a more solid idea of what we want to achieve and to maybe aply a genre that most people can relate to but with the broad area of genre's it realy covers its hard to pin down.
