SoW2 nearing completetion
For several months now we(especially British_Bomber) have been working hard on Sands of War 2. A few days ago the first beta 1 release candidate was released to the testers. This means that the release of SoW2 is close and that work on beta 2 has begun.

We have enough people for the internal beta tests now.

Sands of War 1 took 10-11 months to finish. This time we are making a more advanced game in less time! We have only worked on SoW2 in a half a year or so and we already got much more done than we ever got for SoW1!

The first beta will only contain a few of all the cool things we are working on. Despite being a very basic version of SoW2, it will already contain two very different gameplay modes! In the very first public beta of SoW2 we are going to have more gameplay modes than we ever got done in the years of SoW1

New site
For the last couple of months our webmasters have been working hard on developing a new site. This new site will make 95% of the site editable without use of any code. Everything from menus to news to content will be loaded dynamicly and automaticly from the forum.

Im goin map for this Mod .... Two Weeks and a new Map is orn for SoW -> A Map on higher Standard. :D

and like i said, im the only modeller atm, and im really a skinner, so models will come, but we need a modeller first, atleast one thats better then me :P

also, we will properbly add more gamemodes later on, when we get the other things done.

Yes, my standard about Maps are High!
I map since 4 Years for HL so, i thing this is why i dont like the SoW Maps.

Mods like Projekt Timles or TheTrenches should get the Award!
They have all Greate Looking Maps, Models, Gameplay and the Crews works hard for the own target.

In my eyes SOW is not special and that was my question, why the Mod get a Award?

PS.: I respect your hard working and i hope SoW becomes better!

This mod is pretty good, its like CS (as stated) except it doesn't take 2 friggin clips to kill someone (like in CS :p). The interactive (or should I just say "active") animals get annoying quick. You can't shoot them, and there are no decals. The graphics aren't best either.
