Now it the students have started a game developer studio, Coffee Stain Studios, and are developing Sanctum as a standalone game using the UDK.

These are just very early concepts and are not actually in the game looking exactly like this. And yes, there is unlimited ammo right now, but we instead restrict it with overheating and reload times. But everything is subject for change at any time.
