Come share your personal strategies and experiences you've had with Sanctum.

I've heard several stories of widely differing strategies and even some wicked stories.

How do you build your maze? What is the core of your defense? How much do you rely on your towers compared to your hand-held weapons? Have you ever actually beaten the game? This is the place to brag and show off your awesome skills!

I have just finished all 15 waves (actually I was able to start the 16th, but nothing was happening). I've spent a little time thinking what would be the best way of creating the longest possible maze for my enemies, and it turned out that creating an entire line of S.L.O.W. fields and putting gatling cannons next to them is a very effective way, especially when the enemies have to walk next to those same cannons again in the maze, and they are supported by 2 lightning towers, a few anti-air guns, and my sniper skills. There is also an elevator on both the end and the beginning of maze -- convenient. I was able to beat the game only by knowing most of the waves before playing them (the last two isn't much of a challenge if you're able to beat the ones before those), and I've experienced these the hard way, got defeated many times before I was able to successfully beat the game.

I must say a huge "thank you" for this mod, and I hope the next release will be even more exciting.

Great report! Congratulations on beating the map there, Lord_Crusare :) Quite a feat, most likely took a few tries, as you said.

We'll make sure to add more content and fun until the next release ;) Then it's just for you to go back to the drawing table and start coming up with new strategies.
