This is the first major SA-MP update since SA-MP 0.2 and there are more features and fixes than can be listed on this page. Here is a short summary of some of the new features in SA-MP 0.3a: - Up to 500 players per server and up to 2000 vehicles. We hope you enjoy the new SA-MP version and please check back for any 0.3 bug fix updates.

Will this work with my San Andreas Second Edition PCDVD (the altered version with the hot coffee mod removed)??
No, only the original retail version of SA-MP contains the 1.0 exe that allows SA-MP to work.
If you have the non hot-coffee version or the steam version you must aquire the 1.0 exe file and replace the patched exe for SA-MP to work.
Reminder that this is a result of Rockstar decisions to fight mods, not the fault of the SA-MP developers.

Fantastic program for the game, it's probably the best version of GTA multiplayer on the PC.

They've still got forums. I guess you just chose to make a rediculous rant instead of looking.
As for quiting, they can do that whenever they want. If you look hard on their forums you'll see that Kye is still working on it and in interviews he has revealed that he is aiming for 500 players and 2000 vehicles with no vehicle type restrictions.
