As you can see Mod DB profiles are quite detailed. This allows for both mod authors to promote their mod to the max and gamers to find the exact type of gameplay they hunger for. This is just a demo profile showing off how a mod can look when fully filled in at Mod DB. If you happen to be a mod author then be sure to add your mod, or if you know a mod author tell him to add his!

Don't know a modifications ID but want to quickly locate / see if it is listed in the database? Well now you can thanks to a nifty new feature called findmod.
Basically the way it works is you go Moddb.com and it shall try to find and display the corresponding modification. If no mod is found, the default mod page shall just be displayed.
For example say you wanted to view the mod Counter-Strike you would go Moddb.com . Try it now, it should work with any mod. Even long mod names like Navy Seal/s: Covert Operations, just go Moddb.com and voila it should be found.
Now some of you maybe saying this is a fairly useless feature, but for some gaming sites, following the release of the modDB site SDK it shall be a god send. More details of that shall be coming shortly :)

Resident Evil: City (coop) mod? What's that got to do with this fine example of mod-dom known as Sample Mod? (Sample Mod? sounds like a hospital sim :) )
