Shortly after the citadel exploded, Gordon's train was teleported to a beach in which was farther away from white forest than he anticipated. He makes his way through the coastline, caves, and outlands to destroy a combine weapon capable of destroying the rocket in white forest.

Nice! I like boom! the cars derailing both ways is a nice touch.
I like it, but it still seems a bit toy like, the cars bounce around and sit on top of the flatcars. I'm not expecting bending metal, but maybe wheels that separate from the cars or damaging the flatcars somehow.
I've thought about turning the props into an instant mesh that is broken.. but that's too unrealistic and the player would know :/ So.. no deforming metal, and no instant changes of the model. I have no modeler that could animate this, and if he could it wouldn't work as a prebaked animation any ways.. But yes, i will lower the force on the impacts to reduce how much the train cars fly..
yea, train cars actually don't bend that easily!
Metal being bent actually uses a form of Cloth Physics. Just check out the AEGIA PhysX Engine (or NVidia PhysX, either one works)
If you could add that to Source, then Valve would be all over your mod.
Hmm, nice but it lacks something like crushing and more BOOM!!!
