Ruiner is a dark, nightmarish, fast paced third person action modification for Doom3. the player assumes the role of a herald of death & fights hordes of the damned using unique weapons, abilities and spells.

The follwing is a List of features for the Doom 3 modification "Ruiner." This list will be updated as new ones are finished and are fully implanted into the mod. We will not list or promise features that are not currently 100% working or we are not quite sure can be done.

-New enemies including the Baron of Hell, The Pain Elemental, spirits and the Icon of Sin.
-Third person over the shoulder camera, cross hairs and controls

-Original story, mythology and characters
-Dodge, dash & wall kick from enemy attacks
-Exploding head shots for some types of enemies
-Dynamic weapon spread & accurecy
-Dynamic player movement speeds
-Improved enemy pain reaction system. Enemies will now fully react to pain and even fall to their knees or grab the damage body part & scream in agony.
-Weapons visibly holstered on the player model
-"Gears of war" style weapon zooming for long range weapons such as the Bow.
-Rebb's ambient lighting system which increases the quality of the visuals in outdoor areas.
-Enhanced animation system for the player model allowing for a larger variety of aimations over the standard Doom3 System. The player now moves like one does in a thirdperson game and not like in a typical first person shooter.

-New ultra quality yet highly scalable(DX9 only) bloom shader with HDR like shift sensitivity.
-Material based decals, particles and sound effects.
-New blood splat and blood pool decals system
-Enemies can leave behind trails of blood when damaged.
-Improved behavior of exploding and burning barrels
-Lots of bug fixes, improvements and optimizations
-All new tracer logic for creating tracers and beams
-Support for up to 32 weapons with shared ammo considerations.
-Half-Life style quick weapon key.
-Improved Gibbing system.
-Tweaked ragdolls react to explosions, now an explosion can throw animated bodies in air.
-Physics based collision sounds for debris.
-New realistic particle effects for material based damage feedback, which include a unique effect for materials like metal, wood, concrete, sand, stone, plastic and cardboard
