RSCBM rebalances the game, adds Monte cassino to multiplayer and tweaks the game to make micro easier and more tactical.


MAIN FEATURES:

AI:

The AI is more powerful now, all profiles have been tweaked to be more aggressive and react better and the difficulties changed to:

  • Easy: vanilla Hard mode
  • Medium: harder mode with better settings and more cheat money
  • Hard: super insanely powerful with alot of cheat money for Coop, even good players will struggle.

Maps:

6 Campaign maps enabled for battle/multiplayer

update: only monte cassino is ready to play the others are unfinished and i probably wont get around to finishing them since the game is basically dead and its not worth the time.

(ALL EARLY WIP With Depots and some start positions nowhere near balanced due to being other maps copy pasted onto the campaign ones with a hex editor, all depots will be manually placed eventually)

  • Colditz Castle (no Ruse sectors as ruses arent introduced until chapter2)

  • Monte Cassino
  • A bridge too far
  • Siege of Bastogne
  • Into The Bears Jaws (final mission/Germany Nuke base)

hidden Operations unlocked, Operation albion and Kharkov.

FFA enabled on Dday, Center of gravity FFA mid players moved to side cities


General and misc features/changes:

  • HP regen takes longer to start and heals at 40% speed
  • Units retreat from longer distances, now tanks can retreat from infantry on their own without needing to be babysat or have them retreat so late they get bazookas to their face.
  • Forest cover bonus has been increased from 300m to 350m to make forests bigger gameplay wise.
  • Distance for units to use roads has been increased from 70m to 750m so you can order units without them using roads when you dont want them to without having to spam queue orders.
  • Time to change into attack/move position has been increased to 2.5s/1.75s to make it harder for AT guns to attack. infantry take longer to get into their trucks so arty damage is more effective at slowing them down.
  • Researching units no longer makes their basic counterpart unusable. most units can be built after researching everything.

  • Some upgraded units and their basic counterparts have been rebalanced to be more of a sidegrade to improve unit diversity.
  • All infantry weapons and machine guns now have a 15m+ AOE radius so the more infantry you have close together the less effective they will be.
  • AI has been slightly improved, it makes better army compositions and is more aggressive The plan is to make Easy mode around vanilla hard difficulty, normal much harder and hard mode stupidly powerful

  • Build times have been massively increased for most units to give obsolete ones the ability to outproduce powerful ones and to make the amount of production bases a more important factor.

  • all Tanks have much lower turret rotation speeds
  • unit speeds info updated to be more accurate, they move around 60% faster than vanilla claims.

Economy:

  • Start money increased to $300
  • HQ buildable at $500
  • HQ/admins and supply depots give £30/60s. Supply depots make 4 trucks of £5 every 40s to make defending supply trucks more important as well as increase the total amount of money in depots. depot total can only be changed by the total amount of money in a convoy.
  • Admins cost to £300
  • Unit prices have been adjusted across the board. mainly mid and high tier units which cost alot more in general. Proto Heavy tanks reach all the way up to $130.

Nuke mode:

  • Nuke mode has been overhauled to be faster paced with a $1000start
  • depots cost $100 and give $30/60s.
  • Admins and HQs have been enabled at $300 and $400
  • Nukes Have been massively overhauled
  • damage changed from 18000 to 2million
  • AOE radius to 300m/600mfull
  • build time to 10mins
  • reload time to 5mins.
  • price increased to $900 to change them into strategic weapons rather than just more powerful arty.
  • range increased to 3km to stop 2.4km arty from being too powerful.
  • Nuke bases price has been increased to $400

RUSES:

Ruses have been rebalanced to improve info ruses and nerf combat ruses like blitz and fana, You now get Ruse cards every 1min in normal and 40s in nuke mode. normal mode starts with 3 cards and Nuke mode 5.

AIRCRAFT Overhaul:

Plane Flight models have been overhauled with lower turn rates so their positioning and direction you use them from is more important.

AA guns have more range with very slow turret rotation speeds so its harder to get AA walls where its impossible to attack making planes unusable on some maps.

Hello Id like to add admin buildings to the 1939 and 1942 eras could you tell me how to do that?
Also how did you eliminate the upgrades and make it so we could build light tanks and advanced light tanks at the same time for example.

Hey man! I have a problem with vanilla game's timing limit and total war, game modes. I want to start from 1939 tech and pace fast into 1945 like in 10 minutes in a no time limit match. But if I choose no time limit it takes around 30-40 minutes to advance to 1945. By that time supply depots ran out and you basically makey 0 money until you can build admin buildings. Is there any mod you can do to tweak the era timer? Or how can I change the timer for era advance? I tried looking into the values with modding suite but I couldn't find any corresponding data in order to be able to tweak that. Any bit of help is appreaciated!

Hey man, the mod is bugged. AI acts super passive and makes too many seconday headquarters in the same spot. The way the AI uses its airforce seems buggy too, they'll bug out when anti-air starts shooting at them.
