Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Will you add faction X ?
A: We're not making any promises concerning upcoming factions, we follow our planning and eventually new factions are done.

Q: Will you add X item ?
A: If it fits our time frame then we will most likely add it as long as it is relevant, if it doesn't then we won't.
Items we won't do:
- Square Scutums
- Segmentata
- Corinthian Helmet
Stop requesting these please.

Q: Faction X is so OP/UP (overpowered/underpowered)!!!
A: That's not a question. Also we tested everything against everything in multiplayer a dozen times already and as far as I'm concerned it's relatively balanced. It seems to work decently in SP too so if all you have is one random empiric occurrence where you got your ass handed to you that won't be convincing of a faulty balance.

Q: Is the mod dead?
A: No.

Other things worth mentioning:
We do our own research so please be so kind to not point towards Rome II as a historical reference, we appreciate actual history books and physical evidence over movies/videogames. We do have a planning for what we are doing (most of the time) so there is no point in suggesting to us what our next move shall be. Thank you for reading the F.A.Q. and twice the thanks for reading the F.A.Q. before posting a question already answered in it.

So rgcolt i couldn't find an answer on the forum so i'm gonna ask here, just be aware that i'm not trying to flame or make you angry, i simply don't understand...

Anyway the question is, why won't you include the typical Corinthian helmet(one that protects the face and the head)? I can understand not wanting Lorica Segmentata and Square Scutums because they were not from that time frame, but why not the helmet? It was used up until the 1st Century AD!

I have to say this is the main reasons I still play Warband. I've played most of the mods posted on Moddb, and this one is still my all time fav. Im not leaving out Brytenwalda cause from time to time I do get down on that one just not as much as Raw2.4. Every update you guys put out is awesome A true unique work of art! I really dig how historically accurate most of it is, and everytime I play I think to myself what were these people on.lol Have you guys thought of making some bodies with and without the neck torque worn by the Gauls? I just thought it would add more detail to them as silly as it sounds?

Thanks, Celts still have to be almost completely overhauled as they are the least from being finished of the current factions, so far we have made ourselves most of the helmets present in our timeframe, three swords, five spears and two shield types. Armors and clothes are reworked OSPs and Native content until we start working on them, we have some research done and if all goes well they will look really neat.

Yeah I noticed that there is a huge difference for that faction in comparison to it's prior in 2.3 as also goes for the others. Which is why I find myself playing Them more often than I did before. The heavy swordsman for the win! I'm gonna keep check'n up. Thanks for the time you guys put into it! blood, sweat, and tears.

To add to my previous comment, ive noticed that with the Gauls, that when fighting in their army, when fighting the Romans, they wont charge, and only attack when the enemy army finally charges

Concerning battles, the side in disadvantage will most likely wait for the enemy to make a move, else it might be that the Freelancer battles fall back to the Native AI behavior that sure loves to circle around each other. I'll have a look eventually.

Concerning Calradian references showing up, we know about it but we haven't changed much dialog yet, it's low priority for us.

Split tribes is most likely to occur but we haven't enough resources done yet, the Celts are quite "simple" right now.

The current map wasn't done by the team, if we get to edit the map the best would be to make a new one.
