 Introduction: 
Rome at War is a Third Century B.C. themed Multiplayer Mod (with SP in alpha stage) developed for Mount and Blade Warband V. 1.154

Features:
- 8 Historically accurate factions, Romani (Romans), Gallia (Gauls), Koinon Hellenon (Greek League), Makedonia (Macedonians), Safinim (Samnites), Megálê Hellás (Greek colonies of south Italy), Basileion Syrakosion (Greek colonies of Sicily), Epeiros (Epirus, between Illyria and Greece)
- Unknown number of Custom Maps 
- Dozens of ancient Weapons/armors/shields 
- New animations 
- Custom Banners 
- Custom options (Extra encumbrance, Class-limits)
- Early stage Singleplayer+ many more small gameplay changes

Q: Will you add faction X ?
A: We're not making any promises concerning upcoming factions, we follow our planning and eventually new factions are done.

Q: Will you add X item ?
A: If it fits our time frame then we will most likely add it as long as it is relevant, if it doesn't then we won't.

Q: Faction X is so OP/UP (overpowered/underpowered)!!!
A: That's not a question. Also we tested everything against everything in multiplayer a dozen times already and as far as I'm concerned it's relatively balanced. It seems to work decently in SP too so if all you have is one random empiric occurrence where you got your ass handed to you that won't be convincing of a faulty balance.

Q: Is the mod dead?
A: No.

Other things worth mentioning:
We do our own research so please be so kind to not point towards Rome II as a historical reference, we appreciate actual history books and physical evidence over movies/videogames. We do have a planning for what we are doing (most of the time) so there is no point in suggesting to us what our next move shall be. By srv you mean server? There is a server, it's mostly active in the afternoon (EU time) by 7/8PM (GMT) then there are the weekly events. I might be a bit more active after a release.

I just tried this mod last night and i have to say i've never seen such good new and historically perfect items in any mod (in fact they are too beautiful for the basic graphism of the game ^^) !!! The items stats and prices look well balanced too !!! Cavalry seems a little bit slow. I've noticed problems of mesh between new items and boots from Warband. I wish you the best !!!

Warband models cut the legs at the knees height and our models are at the waist height so the two are not compatible, furthermore if you use an armor and no leg model you will have some floating legs. These are some limitations we have to deal with but we are replacing all the leg armor models as time passes and as long as you use one of them with the armors all is fine. Next version should improve the appearance of most items without hurting performance much (I could run it with a 6 years old computer, win 64 is highly recommended due to memory usage though).

My computer is 6 years old too, with windows 7 64 bits and 8 go ram and with nvidia gtx 560 and it was working really fine !

Most of the members are either students or have a job so it's hard to say when things will be done but there is not much needed to be made. After that it depends what you want to play, playing multiplayer in the current built to familiarise with the mod wouldn't be a bad thing but if it is for Singleplayer better wait for next version (unless you want to see the changes between each versions :) ).

if you mean do they grip shield in the midle?
then no
warband dont allows to have 2 different shield grips
and while we have hoplon grip we cant do scumptum (midle) grip in the same module.
