Inspired by Europa Universalis: Rome, Roma Universalis plunges the world of Europa Universalis back into Antiquity. Command a Greek city-state, Successor Kingdom, or the young Roman Republic in a bid to dominate all of Europa. The game begins in 418 AUC (336 BC): Alexander the Great just became King, Italy is not yet united, the Achaemanid Empire rules the East, China is divided in its Warring States period, and India is divided into warring kingdoms. Who is to command Europa?

Description

Inspired by the old Europa Universalis: Rome grand strategy game made by Paradox. This is a total conversion mod for Europa Universalis 4. It takes the timeline back to 474 AVC which is 274BC. Rome is only just rising up as a power in the Mediterranean, Carthage controls the majority of the trade in the West, tribes are fighting in Gaul, and Alexander's heirs are fighting each other for control of his vast empire. Who will rise up to command Europa?

It is a wonderful idea, that you have made this mod. I would like to share my impressions and hope it will become even much better in the future.

You are maybe planning on changing the unit pixels and game art as general to suit the historical period. I can't find any information if it is possible to use units from EU:Rome, but that would be great.

The biggest issue I find is: THE RISE OF THE TRIBAL EMPIRES :)
In the mid-game very often (if not allways) there are huuuge tribal states. It is rediculous to have Odrysian Kindong from Danube to Jutland peninsula, or Massilia spreading to Germania.
There should be some sort of mechanics, that limit expansion for tribal governments. Maybe increasing revolt risk with number of provinces for tribal governments and possibility to split the state.
