Rock 24 takes place on an abandoned Cliffside prison.
The prison is situated on the side of a sheer cliff face meaning the only real way in and out is by air. The combine have moved in to the facility and are re-using it as a place to hold rebel leaders and other important Rebels.
Gordon is required to infiltrate, free the Rebel leader and hopefully escape from the facility alive. Unfortunately the prison is rapidly deteriorating around him and there isn't much time.
Rock24 was in production for 9 months as a spare time personal project by two guys who work in the games industry. This is their first mod and attempt at level design.

Story:
After a disastrous rescue attempt to free Richard G Newell, a renowned rebel scientist, Dr. Gordon Freeman awakes to find himself locked in a holding cell on a mountainside prison facility dubbed 'Rock 24'. His new mission, locate and free the rebel scientist and escape the collapsing combine prison.

You need to find the crowbar in the room and then use it to lower the ladder.
Awsome mod, but I'm stuck in the second level.^^ What do I need to do after the combine gets killed by that electric shock?
I had to remove this from my system beacuse it was too resource hungry and stuttered a lot making the game no fun. try Minerva instead.
No boss fights apart from at the end but you will be disappointed as it's not really a proper boss.

where do i download it? in the downloads it says its a promo video... no mod though... whats up?
I have a quick question for one of the developers; are there boss fights? Either human or alien ones? I am interested, but the boss fights make the game for me.

This was amazing. With no doubt the best single player HL2 mod to this date.
BlitzyMighty: Dive into the water and go right into the tunnel then left up on the platform... Make sure you don't jump in when the power is on though.

Hey Riva, thanks for the tip. It sure is strange about your performance issues. The only thing I can think of is that you are using a very old video card and perhaps some of the special fx just kill the card's pipeline. My card is a geforce 7800, which is rather old at a about a year or more, but I still get usually 30-60 fps. As for me, now I am stuck in the section I think previous post shave mentioned. Its where the staircase breaks and you need to go up this elevator, but the car isnt there and the bottom is filled with water. Its the kindof puzzle that HL2 guides you thru with subtle hints, but since this is a mod there are no such things. Any advice will be rewarded with eternal debt...........
