Rock 24 takes place on an abandoned Cliffside prison.
The prison is situated on the side of a sheer cliff face meaning the only real way in and out is by air. The combine have moved in to the facility and are re-using it as a place to hold rebel leaders and other important Rebels.
Gordon is required to infiltrate, free the Rebel leader and hopefully escape from the facility alive. Unfortunately the prison is rapidly deteriorating around him and there isn't much time.
Rock24 was in production for 9 months as a spare time personal project by two guys who work in the games industry. This is their first mod and attempt at level design.

Story:
After a disastrous rescue attempt to free Richard G Newell, a renowned rebel scientist, Dr. Gordon Freeman awakes to find himself locked in a holding cell on a mountainside prison facility dubbed 'Rock 24'. His new mission, locate and free the rebel scientist and escape the collapsing combine prison.

A very fun mod. One of the best(or best) hl2 SP mod out so far.
There was a couple of moments where I got stuck,
apart from that everything seemed to run perfectly.
Great mod guys.

This is really great mod, I like the fact that you concentrated on dialogue, plot and involving gameplay rather than attempt all these flash antics some other mods attempt, and usually fail.
This is a very smooth and professional-feeling mod. The design is carefully through out and the basic gameplay mechanics of HL2 are leveraged to effect.
In the later parts of the mod it feels as if the makers have tried to do too much, to cram too much stuff into one scene. I like to think I have a pretty powerful system, but it began to chug during some of the larger rebel vs. combine sequences. The designers could have reduced the size of the areas and the number of NPCs and still made these scenes compelling and fun.
The voiceacting is generally excellent, although the main protagonist delivers his lines with as much emotion as someone saying they're going out to get some milk. There's no "character" to the character's voice, although the script is well written.
All in all, a very slick and fun-to-play mod. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys HL2.

This is a terrific mod, it could easily be played many times with out getting too bored. Easily one of my favorite mods for HL2. It will take you about half an hour to beat this, and at the end you will be begging for more. Excellent I give you 10s across the board.
PRO- Excellent game play and superior level design

when you in the cell throw the crap coming out of the broken pike into the fusebox thing
Open one of the only doors at the corners of the room and battle your way through combine to get your HEV suit back
This is a very decent mod, enjoyed it

You need to find the crowbar in the room and then use it to lower the ladder.
