This WarCraft III Total Conversion was originally partially made for StarCraft: Broodwar from roughly January 2001-December 2003, but due to frustration with the limits of SC and the unlimited promise of WarCraft III, we shifted over at the beginning of this year. For those of you not familiar with this mod or the Robotech anime series, here is a brief explanation: Robotech is an Americanized Sci-Fi anime series that aired on American Television in 1985, and its success is partially responsible for the massive wave of anime that we now have today. The series is a combination of 3 separate anime series dubbed into one, leading to a massive 85 episode television series detailing a multi-generational struggle between Earth and various alien races as they attempted to conquer the planet for a long-lost energy source that had crashed down to Earth in the year 1999. Alright, folks...it's been a long wait, but the latest version of the mod is now up on our website, and is currently awaiting approval on this site. This version contains many gameplay changes, including a few experimental ones like the addition of a second Legios combination. We have also reworked the background music, using music from the new Robotech 20th Anniversary Collection Soundtrack just recently released (available now on Robotech.com). For a more detailed list of changes, please see the readme enclosed with the mod download. And no...there are still no new models, as much as I'd love to have them. We've just had absolutely no luck importing our current models into the game, and trying to find new modelers/skinners to help us out for no reward aside from the experience itself. In other words, if you're just dying to complain about the lack of graphical changes from WarCraft III: FT standard...don't. We already agree with you. If you know anyone who can and will help us in this endevour, though, please let us know.
Have fun with the new version!
