About Rising Sun:
The Rising Sun modification brings the Japanese civilization in Age of Empires III. The Japanese will give the game a big twist. Why? Because it something totally different. The Japanese are the first civilization depending on mostly wood. This dependancy is compensated by the brand new Bamboo factories. Like banks produce gold the bamboo factory produces wood and stimulates the entire wood gathering process.

Most important features:
- A completely new civilization bringing a brand new gameplay experience and tactics.

- A large arsenal of new units including the well known samurai (Karo, heavy infantry), Shaolim Monks, Ninjas and Ashigaru as can be seen in the attached screenshots.

- Unique Mercenary unit: ANBU

- New technologies: Masamune (Karo attack upgrade), Meiyo (All units more HP) to just name a few!

- New card offering unique upgrades for the Japanese (Team cards included!)

- New sounds for all of the Japanese units. High quality recordings of real Japanese people recorded in a real studio!

- New textures buildings, units and villagers!

- New icons for technologies, units and cards.

- New politicians. All politicians have been replaced by Japanese politicians with unique Japanese upgrades!

- New building(s): Currently the Japanese have the unique Bamboo factory at their disposal. In time more unique Japanese buildings will shine in our modification!

- Brand new locations to fight your epic battle: Japan. Parts of Japan are being constructed as we speak to serve as new battlegrounds!
