This is a mod in progress for "Call to Arms" changing the theme into the Star Wars universe with new high quality content, new non-linear RPG gameplay, and many new game mechanics!
you can defeat a barrier more easily with a higher powered rifle. say you've got an enemy machine gun nest behind cover. this allows you to potentially shoot at the nest instead of the gunner and still have a decent chance of taking out the gunner. or it means that you could potentially rig up your own cover and shoot through both sets of cover
Now don't ask me why they sent a sniper to board a ship in CQC, mhkay.

think of it like this. your assaulter guys are running M4's, and your sniper will run an M110 or a Barret M107.
so depressed this mod is not releasing. but love seeing new images.
