Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Hello RotR fans! Today it is time for another media update, this time you'll be presented a new Russian building and a Russian artillery.

We present to you, the Russian Buratino and the Russian Radar Station:

Russian Buratino Russian Radar Station


TOS-1 Buratino: Relatively new to the Russian arsenal, this revolutionary short-range artillery fires missiles with highly flamable explosive material, which have been proven very effective at clearing enemy garrisons due to the desastrous effect they have when exploding inside buildings. Due to its weaponry it is most effective at scorching infantry, but can also be decently employed against vehicles and buildings.

Radar Station: Russian radar stations are equipped with powerful sensor equipment, able of spotting hidden enemies nearby, aswell as giving the Russian commander a general overview of the battlfield. This station also serves as relay between the command center and orbiting sattelites. Though Russian commanders could decide to not build a radar station, it is in their best interests to invest their resources into this equipment, as the vital information it provides can have a big impact on a battle.
