The NH40 Pegasus utility helicopter is the flying workhorse of the European Continental Army, as well as many of its member nation's armed forces. It is reliable, all-weather capable and can be used in a variety of roles. Some NH40 are outfitted with external munitions dispersal pods in order to create minefields by simply flying over an area while others have been designated as medical search and rescue helicopters that are called upon by combat physicians to extract incapacitated comrades from the field of battle on short notice.
As of the upcoming version 1.85, the Pegasus will replace the current Vulcan bomber for the Minefield General Power while the Medivac version will be used to visualise the Evacuate Wounded ability of the ECA Medic, so it is mostly a cosmetical addition.
And as always i would like to remind all of you out there that there will be an other stream on this Sunday (May 4th):
Dis' gonna be good
No more vulcan? Can't you shoehorn it into another role?
Calm down, they are gonna keep it for the other roles, like dropping neutron bombs and stuff like that...
It says 'MINEFIELD ONLY'!!!
I haven't played ECA in quite a while, I didn't remember what other roles it had.
Pretty much what most bombers do when they're not used for extra stuff. :p
"Cosmetical"??
Making up words I see =). Nice update though.
Cosmetical is not a made-up word. It's something that has medicinal properties.
cool
when it is going to be ready the missions for all the armies
please answer...i'm a loyal fan of this great mod congrat my friends very impressive..
We cannot make any estimates regarding our progress or release dates. Things are done when they are done. Missions will not be introduced before version 2.0. The upcoming version will be 1.85.
I want this to be finished so soon, btw the ECA Deployment Zone can't drop any troops whilst it's building aircraft, can we get a fix on this or is it intentional?
Well, if you have units being trained you can always cancel, call for a drop-in AND resume the training right after. It works if the drop-in is already on the way but not the other way around.
when ?
