Rise of the Reds is a A expansion mod for Generals: Zero Hour which adds a completely new generals system, new generals for all original sides, and adds the Russian Federation and the European Continental Army. The upgraded Chinese Overlord is a beast. Not only it has increased firepower but it also is extremely fast for a tank of its class. Gone nuclear, the Overlord can operate for as long the rations of the crew last, giving it more autonomy than any tank ever built. We tried asking Chinese officers if anything was done to increase the safety of the tank’s crew with such hazardous radioactive components but we are yet to receive a reply.

I think the overlord should be acessible without that. u know,its like making a USA player use gen points to acess his/her raptors or commanches...
...also, theres is no heavy tank class in chinese army other than overlord. nevertheless...Just my toughts...

It was our decision to make players play China as more of a spammy hording faction, so the Overlord doesn't really fit into that premise. That said, it's available, and truthfully speaking, it's probably one of the most worthy gen point units in the game.

I read somewhere, dont remember if in this site or ROTR website, that the chinese will have plenty of diferent units for many roles. Well I just hope to see among these a heavier brother of battlemaster. Maybe in the next releases. Plus, i cant wait to have my good old GLA back, ehehe.

Looks great. But I'd like to see here more interesting General powers (air/artillery strikes, paradrops, etc) instead of wasting Gen points to unlock even so good tank... But I apprehend that I should definately have to waste a point for this. Good work!
Paradrop is for USA, air strikes have (Napalm Strike), and artillery also have. 2 different artillery strikes which in general are the same is a little strange, dont you think? Its now quite balanced.
Uh I've mentionsd THESE ones as an example. There are also many Gen powers which don't make big bursts (Sneak attack, Hack attack, Frenzy, etc), but they are also very interesting and may be very useful... I like using Gen powers and I think that it will be great if they increase total amount of them and allow to waste 1-2 points more than now...
Hmmm... you are right in this :D If they will fill ALL places for GenPwrs (25) or most of them. This is will give a player hard time to decide which he will choose :D
The maximum of different Generals Powers per side is 23, 4 on rank 1, 15 on rank 3 and again 4 on rank 5. However, this could be increased by modifying the window files, but is not required, since every side has atm enough Generals Powers.
Nice model. About "asking the officers if anything was done to increase the safety of the tank’s crew with such hazardous radioactive components" just give them NBC suit before operate the tank, like the Russian Golem crews

for all tank crews operating this tank, beware of nuclear components.. radiation level high, but not toxic.
