Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

We'll BLOW'em apart!
Nothing so new imho: fill techs with terrorists and come fast to the enemy. But anyway this fits their style.
Then — Technical with Suicide Packs carrying terrorists with cluster/napalm bombs!
It would be cute if the GLA Rebels get the abillity to stick bomb on vehicles as Chinese FLack Rocketeer can. 'couse they are accurate with molotovs as Stormtroopers are with Jedies.

what's the point of even more boom-units?
This one in particular allows you to re-fit Technicals and Quad Cannons into explosive units on the field. Imagine, your attacking force has been decimated, the next engagement will get them all killed and you cannot retreat either. This would allow you to change them into suicide units right where they are so that you can still get a last bit of spiteful use out of them against your opponent.
just imo, but if they would left terrorists after being destroyed(like USA pilots) would make it more interesting(especially if infantry is upgraded for invisibility!)
It's essentially General Juhziz with his demolitions upgrade for practically every unit in his arsenal.

Kinda like a Car Bomb, I guess this will be handy when all the other Cars on the map have been used up or destroyed. :P
