Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The Kodiak Battle tank is Russia's workhorse
for tank versus tank confrontations. These tanks
are a hybrid design of many Russian tanks. It also
boasts many new additions including updated
navigational and movement equipment, smoke grenade
launchers and an advanced turret armed with both a
cannon for armoured targets, and a machinegun to
repel a small amount of infantry.

It might be an American name but the name decision was made through what sounded better and its mocking the Americans in ROTR. ;D

Why not try 'Volk'? It's Russian for wolf. Work best in packs, but deadly when cornered :P
"Volk" is also German for people. Good idea, but I think that Kodiak is perfectly fine. I mean, seriously, it sounds really cool.

The Kodiak sounds too like a Canadian LAV, but good job anyhow.
Kodiak it is very similar on T-72 ( ? ), but it is not so new technics.
