Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
As of Version 1.85, certain units and buildings have a chance to leave behind a stockpile of nuclear materials upon their destruction. Any GLA Bomb Truck can pick these up and be instantly outfitted with a different nuclear weapon based on the source. Upgraded Chinese vehicles, Nuke Cannons and powerplants will produce material for a simple dirty nuke (first truck on the left), a conventional bomb with a nuclear component that spreads radioactive fallout upon detonation without triggering an actual chain reaction with devastating effect. A Breeder Reactor or Nuclear Missile Silo may produce a stronger tactical nuclear warhead (second truck) as could a Russian Topol Launcher or Missile Silo (third truck). Finally, European Pandora cannons and R&D Compounds outfitted with the Pandora protocol may even grant you a lethal neutron bomb (fourth truck).

Nice! But is it a part of Recycle mechanic, or it is completely different thing? And can other units pick these nuclear crates and get upgraded, or Bomb Trucks only? I imagine a Scorpion with nuclear engine, two Stinger missiles and big cannon, firing uranium shells that leaves toxins :D
It seems like GLA will now surprisingly strong in China vs GLA matches by turning their own nukes against themselves. While in GLA vs USA and GLA vs GLA matches GLA power will remain the same.
Planning out the Recycler mechanic -sort of- gave us this idea but the two are not connected. Only Bomb Trucks will benefit from the nuclear components.

How does the two bomb trucks in the middle actually differ ?? Are they just for visual purposes to easily identify their loadouts as either Russian or Chinese nuke OR do they really have different stats ??

Well, the Russian one comes from Topol-Ms and missile silos, which use MIRVs, so i guess it might be powerful, i hope the devs answer your question.

BTW, are those nuke salvages going to disappear in time, as the regular ones do?
Also - can the nukeneers be useful for nuke salvage, or the GLA is above such small stuff?
And - say, if Karmen Jell land a nuke Han gunship - anytning to take from it?

Devs, y u no make the russian silo and topol leave nukes even if they're not loaded. Such a tendency may increase the realism too much and decrease the use of these goodies. Not to mention that almost noone will put topols and silos at the damn frontline.
neather are the nuck cannons(near front lines),or nuke gens or the goddamn nuke silo,not speaking about the pandora...so it takes effort to get it.

With this much more punch, the GLA sure pay attention to quality.
It would simply be awesome If you would give the bomb truck stealth ability, rather than the disguise ability. The reason being, that the disguise ability is OK if you playing against AI but its pretty much useless if you playing against a human player. I know this from experience. I hope you put my advice in use. Thank you :)
