Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Like the detail. I wonder, after scavenge upgrade, will the barells become six, or they stay four, but meaner? And also - is there any supposed way for the GLA to acquire parts, besides bashing enemy vehicles? Scavenge drop, maybe?

I'm guessing KPV will be replaced with ZU-23. And I agree Salvage drop would be quire useful for turtler like me.

if your going about the salvage drop, one is only enough to upgrade 2 of them to max rank at best. and shockwave had it,with a bonus for the salvage general that enables him to build scrap upgrades in his scrap yard.

Well, from a logistics perspective, I think it would still be easier to get more 14.5 than find more Beeegeeer Booolet!
But I'm probably underestimating GLA supply lines and overestimating the prices of Soviet Surplus Supplies™.

Quad Cannon... one of my favorite units. My Modus Operandi while playing GLA campaign in vanilla C&C Generals was "There's never enough of Quad Cannons"

I was expecting the quad cannon base to be a bit of rusted, but, I think it's either the GLA knows how to grease their guns for war, or the gun is for new.

I always wondered if the gunner is inside the gun, or the gunner uses a computer-like device to control said gun.

Description

Despite being one of the crudest, most no-frills weapons in the GLA's arsenal, the venerable Quad Cannon is also one of the most dangerous. Cheap and simple to manufacture, its four powerful 14.5mm KPV machine guns tear through light vehicles and aircraft hulls alike while making a gory mess out of hapless infantry. Salvage upgrades and armour-piercing ammunition only add to the Quad's raw, rapid fire killing power, which makes it a useful complement to any GLA combat force whether on the offence or defence.
