Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

reminds me of the german dingo only flatter. but it can't transport infantry right? i guess it trades its trasport capability for more firepower and scouting ability.

It can transport infantry. In fact, it's paradropped out of an A400M with the Commandos inside.

1. How many of them will be paradropped?
2. So not able to construct on War Factory?

Both genx and rotr used the RL Fennek as inspiration. Also the genx one is called Pitbull not ferret.

That better be an actual cannon mounted on the Fennek because if it were a 40mm grenade launcher then solid slug rounds would be nearly useless since the mussel velocity of such grenades is so low that they would bounce off of even the thinnest armor and at most give a soldier a nasty bruise or maybe some broken bones. On the other hand if it used the same or similar shells as the 40mm Bofors AA guns it would be a fiendishly deadly weaon and maybe you could edit the description of the guns since relatively small caliber cannons wouldn't gain a significant benefit from smoothbore barrels and have it use APDS (Armor Piercing Discarding Sabot) shells, also; maybe for gameplay purposes include some kind of High Explosive shells for dealing with infantry in the open.

The only faction with decent air-mobility for infantry and vehicles across all sub-factions is supposed to be the US for design reasons, but one ECA General will also have a unique air unit capable of transport.

No doubt mod Fennek is spectacular, brilliant. But it is a pity that other mods are not developable in the War Factory

Description

The Fennek is a fast, lightly armoured reconnaissance vehicle developed by Germany and the Netherlands. Easy to transport thanks to its low weight, the Fennek is often inserted alongside ECA Commando units. The vehicles used by these elite special forces have been modified with a variety of unique features, making the Fennek a highly versatile support vehicle for sustained operations behind enemy lines. Its small and inconspicuous silhouette make it easy to conceal when stationary and it is equipped with tear gas grenades that sow chaos and confusion. Its primary armament is the recently developed 'Jackhammer' heavy support weapon, a triple barrelled 40mm smoothbore cannon capable of switching between fully- and semi-automatic fire as well as canister shot and slug rounds. In addition, the Fennek can place a small, stationary sensor pod which keeps the surrounding area revealed and marks targets for rapid precision fire until the battery runs out. This multitude of practical abilities allows the Fennek to provide the Commandos with crucial support for reconnaissance and raiding missions.
