Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Death From Below HAHA!!!!

Hmm the note of how personnel can die when near it
got me asking.
Is this really going to happen in the mod?

Doubtful; it's just fancy writing. This unit is simply late game AA.

Kind of truth in real life. When the SPY radar is active on US Arleigh Burke DDGs the decks up there are secured as personnel can be cooked alive.

I would have added the Tico CGs but they don't have horizontal decks where crew members can walk right up to the radar arrays.

Ye old quad cannon!

i just wish the twin fang had a greater range, so that i could effectively detect and down american planes before they fire.

Too pity that this Twin Fang can only fire at aerial foes. Imagine what it can do if its 2 flak cannons can fire at ground unit. Think the Flak 88 of the Nazi.

I think you should resize this monster...

I think its size is corresponding to its fire power I used this and in couple of games and effectively made a no fly zone with just 3 of them that’s great stopping power :D how u would feel if u saw a small piece o’ AA guns brought down your biggest jets I for one would be rather annoyed and seek much revenge ... if I saw that monster I would rethink my position in bombing lol i.e fear tactic which could be good defense against semi aggressive players.

This piece of AAA is using the South African 6X6 G-6 self propelled howitzer as a base for the radar guided AA arty.

And radar exposure doesn't kill you immediately. I can't remember what it works over but I do know it can give you FLK.

Funny Looking Kids.

Description

Death from above is something China no longer fears. The powerful Twin Fang delivers devastating flak to all aircraft that dare to come near. Its performance is matched by its ease of production. The Twin Fang is already a common sight among Chinese forces, all around the globe. Even skilled pilots are no match for its accurate and powerful slugs, capable of downing aerial threats in seconds.
The only weakness the Twin Fang has is that it requires reloading after its six round salvos. This allows enemies a window of opportunity. At the center of the turret contains a powerful onboard radar, capable of detecting aircraft long before they get into firing range. There have been cases of Chinese personnel dying of exposure in proximity to the device.
