Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

what is that froghead thingy in the middle? I don't like it. I think it's much better without it.

Remove the base, add very powerful legs, and you have China's version of the Sickle! (RA3 reference)

does it use electric motors or does it still use crappy cartrige power?
to turn the barrels?

I'd say it uses whatever it used in Zero Hour!

Yes... weird in the middle... any differences from 4-barreled Gatling Gun? Like firing speed is decreased but firepower is increased?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote
CommanderJRB
CommanderJRB - - 754 comments

No, and the original Gatling Cannon had more than 4 barrels (6 or something IIRC). The firing speed remains the same and the firepower remains the same, it's just that the barrels spin a little faster to keep up.

Description

The new generation of China’s lead spewing automated defense turret has been improved with cutting edge electronics becoming one of the most accurate weapon systems ever devised. Infantry, aircraft, vehicles and tanks, they all eventually fall before the never ending barrages. Speculation has come about that these new systems are far superior than the previous models, able to spot hidden infantry faster, some say however that this is merely a false fact since it's brand new and is not actually proven.
