Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Right.
Plus, Sentinel is a tank. By logic flamethrowers should be ineffectual against tanks, while Sentinel's cannon is effective against Shenlong's armor.

don't be so sure about that.

Burning napalm sticks to almost any surface it hits and can reach temperatures of up to 2500 degrees celcius.
Altho it may not damage the tank on the outside it would get mighty uncomfterble sitting in a huge metal oven!

By RTS logic I meant OFC :)

Of course, the great big metal oven needs more fuel than the smaller metal oven so it takes a little bit longer for the canned meat to go toasty.
And when the great big metal oven packs a 220mm punch, that little bit is all it takes. :p

In real life, mass amounts of persistent fire is fairly useful against tanks.
-It obscures or ruins the sensitive stuff on the outside. targeting devices, view prisms, maintenance gear, etc
-It forces the crew to stay buttoned up, and with the combination of the above, means they are blind and useless. They can't shoot, and moving is a risk.
-When you have enough of it by the engine's air intake, it chokes off the engine, and possibly ruins it if it can get inside. Don't think that a Molotov Cocktail is going to work on any modern tanks though, you need lots of fire.
-If you heat a metal box enough, eventually the dudes, ammunition and sensitive electronics bake.

lets not forget, with a long enough, consent blast of high heat on the hatches, could even " in theory ) weld the damn thing shut and keep all that fleshy goodness baking longer!

I'm guessing that by that point, you have already melted every piece of sensitive equipment on the surface of the now melting armour and exploded or melted the insides of every periscope on the vehicle, exposing the insides to the flame, quickly consuming the oxygen inside as the mixture leaks in, destroying equipment and burning the crew alive if they managed to survive that long. I think I might prefer getting attacked by a Pandora.
Decent idea but it fails for the same reason it could have worked.
And now I'm also reminded of The Salvation War.

In real life, Modern tanks are immune to Neutron blast, thanks to tungsten carbide tamper-reflectors CERMETS with graphite and Cubic-Boron-Nitride !!!

Where did you get neutrons from?

The massive neutron radiation you get comes from a "failed" thermonuclear bomb, the tamper material is usually made from a light material such as nickel or chrome, by doing so , you get a very small explosion, but massive radiation are produce, the explosion in real life is not powerful enough to destroy buildings or vehicles of any sort but, the resultant of these device were design to kill biological life form, the best way to shield from such threat is to use CERMETs or very large layers of light water (i.e under sea water) for the neutrons to decelerate.

Sentinel will won. It's tank destroyer. Shenlong just a big flame tank. It's just my opinion.
