Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Description

Just a simple reskin pack for the USA faction, I've always hated how they look their vehicles, without any kind of camouflage or paint at all. The quality is simple, with some minor discrepancies here and there but nothing remarkable for the usual height view. Rangers, Missile defenders also have a new skin with digital urban camo and kevlar best. Paladins, Crusades, Hummers and variants (Avenger, Ambulance), Bradleys, Tomahawk launchers and Chaparrals use a new digital gray camo pattern. Vipers and commanches are less greenish, Viper looks really good now. and for the love of justice, the blackhawk now actually is a BLACKhawk INSTALLATION: Just place the Art folder in your game directory.

Is free (no torren\crack like photoshop)
can export as .DDS (better for zerohours) also .TGA too
can make "transparent" color easy
Ps:how can apply housecolor for infantry skin(for tank is diffenent) y get some problem for that xD

I think you need to use the alpha channel, then you "mark" the regions you want to show housecolors and you embed it inside the .tga file.

Very nice work - the roof of the ambulance though should be a little darker - it now clashes too much with the darker cameo.

And if possible, maybe darking all US building structures by just a few shades of grey would be a good idea

Out of curiosity, how exactly does one create/modify textures for ZH/ROTR? I'd like to create a camo texture pack as well, like having desert camo for USA, urban camo for ECA, green camo for Russia, etc.

photoshop, open the original texture file's and then edit them in photoshop.

For Vehicles and some you can use paint.net. But you need alpha channel to make skins with housecolors for the infantry, photoshop or gimp a the best options.
