Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

why not with mod?
It´s to reduce the size of the mod itself. Same thing, sometimes, is made for soung tracks
While downloading the maps, you can give a try on the factions and check their changes ;)

Wait, what? It's size about 300 Mb (can't remember) and they saved some download size (nearly 23 Mb) with maps? Oh, Gosh

Lost Cause, Company Town and Tournamnet Valley are the Best maps i reckon. But they dont work on MP /LAN modes?

no campaign? at least challenge mode for this mod would be pleasant. but nice mod anyways. i have yet to try this mappack.
