Showing off the next in the TIE improvement series. Hopefully the team colors as a 'paint job' with chips and stuff looks better? 181st TIE squadron on bottom, center.
Looks very neat, the ingame shot looks like a perfect interceptor, and the teamcolours look good too, as immersive as possible imo, good job on those!

Thank you and no. Missile launchers were an optional (and rare) upgrade but were never mounted on standard TIE/In models. This one will simply have the 6 laser cannons as seen in the screenshot.
Not to be a nitpicker, but isnt the TIE Interceptor only armed with 4 lasers? Or am I missing some thing?
On the other side, awesome model ingame and the team colors too looks sweet, peeling and chipped. :)

Yes indeed ;) I think the earliest models simply had the standard 2 lasers but the most common design variant had 6; two on the cockpit and one on each wing.
i see /cry .....i thought so to...but u see there are missiles on BF2's TIE/In models ^^,i was kinda hoped there will be on these ones too..but its EPIC tis way too :DDD

Also would it be possible to have different "paint jobs" on your craft depending on what color you choose? Maybe help bring a little variety to the color schemes rather than a reskin for each type. I don't know if this has already been suggested or not or how much work it would take to pull off
Not possible, unfortunately. It is possible to generate random units in galactic conquest via mission scripting but not for skirmish...and then, in GC there are no team colors so it's a moot point anyway.
