Whipped this up tonight in a moment of inspiration. Trying something new that hasn't been done in an EaW mod, to my knowledge... Usually it's a ship cockpit or simply blank. I think it looks pretty cool...what about you?

Though maybe you can make the UI buttons fit in with the helmet? As a sort of internal electronics reminiscent of the Republic Commando helmet.
It would kinda block the view unless they had some transparency...
I get what you're saying but something like that would be very hard to do... I can play around with it though. Plus this is an outside view of the helmet...as if the battle is reflecting on the visor. So helmet optics wouldn't be visible.
A battle reflecting on the visor. At first I thought it would be a view from inside the helmet to a land battle, but this is is much more epic in my opinion (as space battles most of the time look better than ground battles). Really impressive work, I especially like the reflections on it, but I agree with the placement and look of the buttons. What you may do with'em is up to you. ;)
Yea if you do the helmet from inside you could easily do a HUD. But the reflection on the helmet is a great idea, mayby, if not too much, you could add a sort of 'control panel' that would also reflect on his helmet from his ship. If that would be possible, it could seriously be awsome.
Hm, or a transparent holographic or barely-to-see Mandalorian symbol and when you go over it with the cursor and click on it, the main buttons will appear either around the symbol (not just every button aligned) or you could give the sorted list of buttons a spatial effect, like they're bent to the back. I don't know if this would technically possible, just wanted to give some possible ideas.
Not really possible. At least, it's not within the scope of what I'm willing to invest time in for the main menu. It's something that would be a very final step in the project, after all other units are done and the mod is essentially finished.

Well, yeah it is possible to do an interior...I was more replying to Plejadenwolf's comment about making menu buttons appear when the Mando Skull is clicked on and the other "special effect" type things.

You should receive an award for the "best and most unique UI of the century," the_Farseer! This is exactly what a battle would look like when seen reflected by a Mandalorian's visor.
