Changed up the design a bit. Took inspiration from the Rebels version as well as the original. A few artistic liberties as well. Hope you like!

One of the few new rebels designs that works pretty well imo

Yours looks great, the nebula and planet glow is amazing too, just wish those engines could get a few more sides like the more round wells ;)

Now see this is one time were I will argue in defense for the low poly engine cowling. This is actually a rather small ship, compared to the other ISD types. It's precisely because of the gravity globes that the poly count was already shot. Spheres destroy poly count. To make up for it and to keep it from creeping up on some of the larger ships, poly-wise, you take from the second most poly-destroying shapes: cylinders. Since it won't be huge on screen, you won't really notice about 90% of the time.

I think the low poly engines work for it. Good job man!

Soooo that makes 11 more things to produce then....( roughly, counting the separate models for the hero ships, land heros and other units to be made)

But really you have Immobilised me with your take on this ship ....

Roughly. Starbases, a few props, and land bases all need done too. But yes, the unit roster is like 95% complete.

I like your take on it. Not a fan of the rebels version; but you made it look real nice. I'm especially a fan of the lights on the grav globes, nice touch. It also has me curious now; are you planning on making a vindicator in the same vein or are you not planning on adding it in?

Thanks! No, the Vindicator won't be in the mod. It didn't see nearly as much use and the Remnant already has more ships than the other factions. Not by a huge margin but enough that I don't want to add more.

Great job. Keep it up, and I hope we'll see a vindicator at some point

Very sleek. This one is propably the most triangly triangle in the Imperial Fleet.

Quite so. I actually thought it ended up looking somewhat similar to the Pelleaon-class ISD from the Legacy era.

Description

The Immobilizer Cruiser, also called a "Drag Ship" is a variant of the Vindicator-class Cruiser that has been equipped with gravity well generators, in place of weaponry.

The Vindicator was designed as a replacement for the aging Dreadnaught-class ships from the Clone Wars but ultimately was passed over in favor of the more successful Victory-class Star Destroyer.

Since the Vindicator was overshadowed in this way, it never really gained the notoriety of it's contemporaries. When the Immobilizer variant was introduced, however, it quickly sprang back into the spotlight as a threatening ship and primary target for attacking fleets. While it was considered inadequate to engage hostiles directly, especially after many weapons were removed to make room for the interdiction equipment, it gave a tremendous advantage to Imperial fleets who could now attack Rebel lines without fear of hit-and-run attacks. Because Rebel ships were generally weaker than Imperial craft, the inability to perform these quick and precise strikes was a crippling blow to their overall battle strategy and forced them to rethink how they would engage Imperial fleets.

As the Rebellion transformed into the New Republic and the strength of their navy grew, the Immobilizer still found use as an interdictor and also an electronic warfare platform. With proper training, Immobilizer crews could utilize the gravity well generators to produce micro-gravity wells which would confuse or destroy incoming missiles and torpedoes.
