These units are an upgrade of Spanish war dogs, and while they take some time to research and train, they are very well worth it, as they have better hitpoints, armour and attack - although the gafaelgwn will always run faster than them.
Although a lot of armour suits for dogs have been made even in current times, we felt that the most likely equipment for these units would've been old armour - castoff mail and brigandine could have been converted into dog armour with little difficulty. The war mask for the figure on the left has a very tenuous existence in actual historical usage, though, but we wanted to save on effort as much as possible.
