Rise of Kings: Chronicles is a continuation project for the mod Rise of Kings, a mod originally started by Super7700, and has as its main goal the production of further custom content and customisations for the original Rise of Kings mod, based on requests by the public although time and resources mean that not all requests will always be entertained.

*Sigh* I'm glad that you liked it. It was hard trying to formulate a design that Chinese and Japanese (and, Koreans too) would have approved of. To be honest, however, I am not really happy with the skin of one of the other Chinese warships, and I will be fixing it pretty soon.

What you see here are but two out of five units available to the Asiatic factions of this game. So far, Asian factions are like 30% complete - Mongolia is fairly complete. I intend to return back some day to finish off the other factions.

Rise of Kings Wiki entry: "China and Japan would easily win any naval fight if pitted against any European enemy but for one problem: to build a fleet, Asian armies would have to forgo the use of wood for their armies. Asians will suffer problems with maintenance, especially if the cheaper and faster European war fleets can somehow cause sufficient damage to their economy. Still, these ships can sometimes translate into victory as long as your resources are husbanded carefully to obtain the right balance of terrestrial and maritime forces."
