The Brotherhood. A new Dawn awaits. Formerly known as Rise of Apocalypse, this mod is set two years after the conclusion of tiberian dawn. The Temple of Nod has been destroyed, and Kane, the charismatic leader of the Brotherhood of Nod, is missing, presumed dead. Whilst GDI archeological investigations continue on the site of the Temple, Nod is in fact far from defeated, and conflict continues in both the Europe and African theatres, as well as elsewhere around the globe. Meanwhile, Tiberium continues to spread and threaten more and more of the world's population. Whose side will you join in this ongoing battle for the future of the world?

-Lucibrum Who will be doing 2d. (textures.. we are in dire need of texture artists so anyone with a little texture artist within themselves, should write me/us and we will possibly offer you a position.

----Features----

We havent gone into this are much as of yet, but in the near future we will. I wont reveal what game types the mod will contain for now, but there is something big coming your way that should enlighten you on the mod as a whole :P
We will in future blogs be featured at planet cnc, and this is most exciting. Thanks to steppo for the oppotunity :)
We will also soon post a FAQ for the most general questions asked us about the mod. I cant tell when exacly it will be up though.

Todays featured structure, is the Nod Obelisk.

The Nod obelisk is a base defence unlike any other. After a short charge, it fires a massive laser beam directly at any moving target within its range. The beam is deadly to any soldier, and will cause a large amount of damage to any vehicle, even the mammoth tank.

The obelisk also has four round panels, which glow more red as it charges. The beam is fired from the top of the obelisk, where a red crystal (also glowing as it chages) is located. The interior includes a computer room from where the tower is administrated. Mostly its just maintance there, but it does have survailance screens and indicators of current threat level. (hp, dmg inflicted, leaking pipes etc) There is also another small room, but thats more of a hall that leads to the "bunker"

Todays featured unit, is the Grenade soldier.
The grenade soldier is a classic in RTS.
Although somewhat unfairly, his "only" weapon is grenades. Grenades which he throws at the enemy. It may seem to some that it is weird to have a guy whose sole purpose is to run around throwing grenades, but rest assured that these can just as easily kill you as any rifle infantry. The grenade, not only does inflict a large amount of damage, it also does splash damage. And its fairly effective against both vehicles, structures and soldiers.
So there is really no shame in being the "grenader"

----New works----

(this is the part where we actually show you guys pictures :o )

First there is a WIP of a upgraded version of the Light Tank. Although undone (and as you can see ive, for the reason of modifying it, temperarily removed it of its skin) it is clear that the Light Tank in the future, could appear much more detailed than previously proposed. Also while making it more realistic im still maintaining the Nod look that i originally intended it.. So no worries.. it will look like a mean machine while stricking like the sting of a scorpion !

As you can see the late approach somewhat makes it more realisitic although it is uncertain if this will be the final approach on it..

Next up we have a slight information spin on the buggy. There will be a passenger riding "third seat" in the buggy, and he will be the one who fires the minigun..

A design is currently in the works to properly integrate this, while maintaining the idea of the original vehicle. So far its looking alright. But a more fluid design is ofcourse, certain. You can see the current wip of it below.

As you can see its at a very concept like stage.... more will be shown on this in the near future.

After that, we have a early WIP of the Brand New Warfactory. As our old warfactory for reasons we wont go to much into yet, didnt look similar enough to that of Tiberian Dawn, westboy13 is currently working on. Shown below.

As you can see its still in the very adaptable fase, however, you can already now see what the purpose is, and you can start to guess on the interior ..... hehe :P

----Final Words----

Well today we tried out our new blog system, (wip) and while i hope you enjoyed it... I figured i would give you something new and exciting when ending the blog. I will leave you to your thoughts as you take a look at it..
