Revolt:The Decimation Season 1
Apr 25, 2007 Full Version 3 commentsKilling never felt so good! The Decimation is an 8 on 8 team based multiplayer game with an assortment of controlled combat objectives. The powerful Revolt...
While the stalemate continues, the Empire begins to cleanse their “impurities”. A staged game of execution is broadcasted as entertainment to the common people of the Empire. Thousands die and are cheered for their staged heroics.
The Decimation is a competitive clan controlled combat system. The battle-grounds and weapons are designed for perfect balance between teams. The primary game mode is a two-stage object that whatever team owns control of the middle determines offense. Player positions are vital and ideally, should change depending on offense and defense. The game is set up as a sport and the strategic team can out maneuver a team full of individuals who have superior shooting skills. The objective clearly defines areas of battle for control with dormant regions that can be used to flank the enemy or creep into position to set up the ultimate power play. Casual gamers will have their place on the field, but the truest and most enjoyable experience will be when you coordinate with your team to decimate the opposition. Although the game can house 16 players, the maps and power weapons were designed for a clan-based 5 on 5. The Weapons are pin-point accurate and use recoil instead of traditional cone based random shooting. Stay alert and cover your ass, The Decimation has begun!

The Decimation is being released to the masses and servers are going up. We need gamers. Lots of gamers! We're going to keep making content for the next 12 months, just to cover this season alone. I mean, non-stop working around the clock making maps, weapons, textures, new character models, new animations and tons of other new features. All of which are part of an aggressive schedule to keep deploying on a regular basis. We have a full polished experience being released on the 24th and a ton of other content waiting to be stamped complete.
Every week, my brother Mike, posts a new youtube.com video showing off some in-game footage. Watch and see what makes Decimation stand out. Every Sunday we'll be hitting the DB with a media update and the latest craze going on here at Lanclan. We mean business!
Get involved with Decimation today. Join the countdown party at our IRC channel #lanclan on gamesurge. Keep checking thedecimation.com for the latest feeds, screenshots and literature. We PLAY SERIOUS! But you can just play for fun if you'd like.

Only 4 more days to go! :D
Great mod, except decimation means to "reduce by 10%" not to completely destroy, so "coordinate with your team to decimate the opposition" means on a 5v5 game you'd kill half of a person.
Other than that its a great game idea jut noticed it, however I now see how much of a party-pooper I am. Hmmm.
I ll bet It ll get great, your mod was in an german pcmagazine also.
Please open enough servers for this PLEASE!!^^
