Revolt:The Decimation Season 1
Apr 25, 2007 Full Version 3 commentsKilling never felt so good! The Decimation is an 8 on 8 team based multiplayer game with an assortment of controlled combat objectives. The powerful Revolt...
While the stalemate continues, the Empire begins to cleanse their “impurities”. A staged game of execution is broadcasted as entertainment to the common people of the Empire. Thousands die and are cheered for their staged heroics.
The Decimation is a competitive clan controlled combat system. The battle-grounds and weapons are designed for perfect balance between teams. The primary game mode is a two-stage object that whatever team owns control of the middle determines offense. Player positions are vital and ideally, should change depending on offense and defense. The game is set up as a sport and the strategic team can out maneuver a team full of individuals who have superior shooting skills. The objective clearly defines areas of battle for control with dormant regions that can be used to flank the enemy or creep into position to set up the ultimate power play. Casual gamers will have their place on the field, but the truest and most enjoyable experience will be when you coordinate with your team to decimate the opposition. Although the game can house 16 players, the maps and power weapons were designed for a clan-based 5 on 5. The Weapons are pin-point accurate and use recoil instead of traditional cone based random shooting. Stay alert and cover your ass, The Decimation has begun!

In only 15 days, we’ll be gold. The Decimation is opening up to everyone. Anyone! Although we designed the game for clan combat, these last few weeks we’ve been making a looser, faster, less deadly Low Grain version. Of course, High Grain is just a switch away for those who like the realism-tactical style game we love so much and play so serious. But everyone who plays games just for casual fun will find the LG game-mode to be the perfect mix of pin-point iron-sights and team sport minus the extreme serious element. Both game-modes will be available at launch and will evolve as it's players do.
We are updating Thedecimation.com this week. The literature section will feature the Revolt back story for it's initial update and more in-depth documentation will follow over the next 15 days. Be sure to drop by and check out all of the updates as they roll out.
Our Youtube.com section is, as promised, getting new in-game footage revealed once a week. You guys should check out this week’s video which features a wicked base line by our cousin Vinny. Be sure to watch them all if you haven’t done so already. You can really see how the game is taking shape!

I know your maps does shouldn't be supporting it but are you allowed to have players up to 32? It would seem a bit crazy, but hey that what public servers are all about. Did you put into any thought into public play?
