Stargate: Revenge of the Fallen is a Battlefield 2142 Modification. It takes place after Season 5 of Stargate Atlantis. Story: A Goa'uld takes over a Prior and with him some of the last followers of the Ori. Together with his fellow Jaffa and the help of the Lucian Alliance he attacks the Tau'ri. A new Confict arises. Defend and Attack important places, both in Pegasus and the Milkyway to fulfill your destiny.

Holy ****:O those effects, the weaponry, the whole damn thing:O ITS PERFECT:D I don't think any mod for BF2142 has ever been this good:O I mean those explosions:O damn those are wicked!:D
I do have one suggestion:P Maybe scale down the blast yield, and damage from the Naqada enhanced tactical nukes:P I mean it took 3 of those things to destroy an ''improved'' hatak:P But it is just WAAOOH!
Now I know i've been waiting my *** of for something definitely worth it!:D

Thanks haha XD we do a hard job with these, and the cap ship vehicle are my babies as i did most of the coding for them XD

About weaponry, we still need to get done the balancing stage, now you'd be shocked if i tell you, the current hatak laughingly overkills the BC 304 even if its unleash all its nuke arsenal, and also, 1 nuke suppose to kill a hatak, or minimum 2, what really is the case that nukes useless agents shields ( as it is in te serries ) so likely gonna intreduce new matterials to the mix to make this real.

well you could use the standard BF2142 titan mode missile hit ratio thingy? And for the story, the Hatak's have enhanced shielding from Anubis, and the BC304 is powered by a ZPM, so the asgaurd shielding is powered to max:)

For the Titans perhaps, for the space vehicles noooo way, The smallest fighters will be able to deal damage to the largest caps ships and there be balance, the way i imagen it.

Plasma - Anti everything but weak agents Tauri armor plus unlimited ammo
Nukes - Anti anything but much much weaker agents shield plus limited ammo, but very heavy agents armor ;)

I do plan have more then one variant of each sides cap ships, but lets get a standard capship first then variants ;)

well you would have to fire 2000 slammer missiles with a F302 at a hatak before it blows:P

Spelling is not my strongest side so yeah agents XD
And yes you need as many small missiles, but you get like 12 F302 fighters each carry 2x4 Naquada sidewinder rockets do the math and that is a planny damage dealt to the Hatak if comes to it. but F302 truely be handy at killing of death glider, and those nasty agents cap ships in large groups, it may turn out i gotta double if not triple the current shield life points to make the cap ships durrable enought ^^

aw that's ok:P but you got to be careful with those Deathgliders, because of their plasma based weaponry, they have unlimited ammunition compared to the 8 naqada enhanced slammer missiles that the F302's crarry. So I'd say that the plasma shots that are fired by the gliders, need to be less effective against shields and hull then those slammer missiles. maybe like 1/6 of their damage.
And do you get those 12 F302's in 2 hangar bays from the BC304? so 6 each? because that would be sweet if you can fly with all of those 12 F302's at ones from those bays:D and in turn there will be like 40 gliders launching from the hatak:P

Oh and the question isn't if we do get those 12 F302s in the 304's Hangarbays but if MGM dind't do any scaling crap on this one. ;)

what do you mean? with scaling? because if you want to know how many F302's you can fit in there, you need to watch the episode in Stargate Atlantis where a wraith virus infects the Daedalus and they need to remove all the hard-drives form the F302's, if I recall correctly they say how many F302's they've done. But I don't know if it is possible in the hangar bays you designed.

Well... in one Episode there are just like 6 or 7 F302s in a Hangarbay. In another (e.g the one where the Wraithtransport is landing in the Hangarbay) 'bout 10 or 12 fighters would fit in. That's what I mean with scaling by MGM. ;)

We'll get to it ;) tough there are some engine limitations we have to battle with, the Hataks works 100% well with Fighters linked to it, the BC 304 had lag issues for some resone, but dont think so its cant be fixed, but yes, personly i plan to give the BC 304 12 fighters ( 1-1 spawned each sides, and maximum 6 can be taken from each hangar ) hatak will have like unlimited number of fighters kind of, 12 ready constantly and from each pos take 2, up to 4 max, so a large abundence of DG fighter ( well the Hatak is what it is, a Mothership ) so wont be like queing to the fighters on the Goaud side ;)

I think it's smarter to make the ratio 1-1.5 because the DG are weaker then the F302's:) and the respawntime of the DG's need to be like 1.5 times lower than the F302's.

Dont worry it be balanced ;) and the DG is more like a light bomber not an interceptor, newer been ( and i not suprised the Goaud system lords got pawned, miss using assets and inventory full of gaps ) so to be an ace in AA combat with the dead glider, have to be preaty good pilot, you'll just have to hit your target once to be a gonner, but have to hit it.

yeah the problem with the DG is, is that it has plasma shots, which have particle drift. And in space, with a jumpy F302 trying to evade you is it very difficult to hit it:P The problem is, is that the Goauld don't have interceptors, they don't have direct weapons like beams, or somewhat like railguns. And they don't have heatseaking weapons like the slammer missiles from the F302. So maybe you could increase the speed of the plasma shots from the DG so they have a better chance against the mighty F302's^^
