I'm glad, that I can offically announce our second Community-Contest. As you may know we really want to let you, the community incoporate in certain parts of Development. So this time it is up to you how one of our devices will look like.
This device is supposed to be a kind of handheld scanningdevice for the Alliance. The design itself should orientate on those of the Goa'uld or Ori, but I also can be a mixture of both. If you have a good idea, then take your pens, paper, scanners, drawingprograms and grafictablets and start drawing. If you like you can also write a shot text un which you describe the way your Device works (Either in German or in English; Formats: .txt, .doc, .odt, or as a post in our Forums; we do NOT accept .docx).
On your drawing, the design should be visible from all sides, so please draw at least 2 views of it, for example perspective and top view. And do not write anything on your drawing. (of course you can sign it)
The picture should have at least 1000x1000 pixels but it can be bigger if you like and don't have to be a square. Our favorite formats are .png , .psd and .tga as these have either none or verly little loss of quality (.jpg is okay, as long as it has a high quality).

Post in in out Forums in This Topic or you write a PM to Lantian. or xxdabtxx on ModDB.
Commisions which end up in the inbox of the other developers or in the comments will be ignored while choosing the winner. Please note that only one and only the first submission is taken under consideration.
The Contest will run until the 23rd of July 2010 12am GMT+1.
The winner will get a renderpic of his device, a Beta-slot and his name will be written down in ancient on the texture of the device.
