avitus is gonna have some epic acu entry animations with the new acus

cant wait to see all the new animations. hope the acu animations dont look all dorky like the vanilla ones do.

also, maybe you could use the explosion effect of the scfa disruptor artillery somehow in the cybran warp. loved the "aftershock" effect where lightning flashed up a few times.

would it be possible to randomize the debris sizes? some huge, some tiny?

will units have footprints?

XPs will have footprints, size and positions of the rocks are random, yes my ACU animations will look good.

i meant textured footprints that match the look of the bottom of the foot or whatever. like how units have those little grooves on them when you set the graphics all the way up. actual pollied footprints. not high in graphics but at least they look real instead of 2d.

now that i think about it, a warp explosion wouldnt really throw reclaimable debris unless it warped on top of something. otherwise, if its just dirt, why dont we just reclaim the dirt were standing in?

maybe you could have a big warp beacon that gets blown apart when you warp there.

The warp debris is random like i said before **** this guy is as think as a plank, When a explosion goes off the ground could have rock, metal, any think under the surface **** me dead......

there will be pollied footprints then? track marks too? and whats with the insult? i think you mean im as dumb as a plank, and im not. and i dont think they are dumb questions. i think they are good questions. i never thought that footprints were pollied in vanilla.

and if there was debris underneath, it would make a crater, it wouldnt just throw everything out from underneath. that would be silly.

the debris i see in that video does not look as random as it should. all generally the same size. im talking about golf balls compared to basketballs. if a warp explosion throws debris, other big explosions should throw debris.

also, if the map is man made, it shouldnt have craters or debris. debris on a man made map would not be explainable seeing how the material doesnt even get scratched by a nuke.

Also you get insults because you pick the smallest whole in things its a ******* game not real life, And explosions do though debris i do the best i can with what this engine has to offer in functionally, I will be adding the same debris to nuke and so on as well yes the engine doesn't support craters but I'm trying to add new things that give it that effect like the debris and there as random as they can be, also there are 3 sizes at the moment more will be added later on.

I'm not angry just tired of hearing smart *** reply's to new features i spend a lot of my time adding to improve the game, Let me be honest with you without support from people that respect the work we are doing i would of stopped working on this mod some time ago, I still work on it because i have some pear time and i enjoy coding and i never leave a project unfinished.

one thing to consider is what kind of force comes from a warp explosion. would it have a force? would it throw debris or suck it in? im not saying its not good work, im trying to help you make it more realistic. and if you do it right, realistic could be awesome.

oooh. okay. see i didnt know that. i dont know the game like you guys do.

i havent played supcom in a while, and i forget whether or not the uef acu had the teleport in sc2, but if it did, are you guys gonna make the warp effect have an explosion similar to this but smaller? if not, are you planning on even putting the teleport back on it?

This whole effect has been ported over from FA and recoded for SC2, Normally the ACU in SC2 will just be standing there on the start of the map, and please don't post about other mods it has nothing to do with revamp or SC2.

how would it hurt this mod at all? it wouldnt. people bring up conversations about other mods and games all the time and you dont say a thing, so you cant use "because it has nothing to do with it". you deleted that based on competition.

tell that to everybody else who talks about other games on here too. and theres nothing that says it absolutely belongs here and absolutely belongs there. all im doing is saying hey people check this out! theres good reason behind why im posting it here and not anywhere else. im sure people have posted stuff about battlezone all over that but i posted that here because about 50% of the ppl on moddb only pay attention to things they like, not what others like, i learned about battlezone through an off topic thing that someone posted on a game i use to freak out about. i know that a lot of the people who like this mod would really like battlezone. me and a bunch of other people have commented about other games and the only difference is that im asking them to check it out. thats why you deleted it. not because its off topic. because im asking people to check something out and giving them a tidbit of info about it. and it does have something to do with this game.

its a strategy game,

its a mod that could bring a dumb game up the list or even bring it back to life LIKE this mod.

the animators for that mod use the same program as avitus, and are also really good at it,

both are mods of games that are almost the same in terms of time period,

the only big differences are its a different game and battlezone is a fps rts.

other people have posted stuff in the same way and you havent said **** to them. the biggest reason you deleted that was because you dont like the game(bet you havent even checked it out yet) and you dont like me. off topic is just an excuse your using to hide the real reasons. i really think people would like battlezone if the company wouldve had enough players to better update it and change it to the point of where it would be a nice game.

theres no reason to delete a single comment. yeah if its a big fat conversation about it yeah but one comment? no.

Like any forum or mod there's rules to follow and seeing that you don't understand those rules it ends in your post being deleted all i'm doing is cleaning up off topic discussions which shouldn't be posted or talked about here why because there not related in any way, also i don't care who's posting them they will be deleted yours isn't the only post i have deleted, One post could lead to more posts about unrelated subjects.

To summarise spend less time argung about names of units and things that have been launched half baked and more time developing this wonderful mod as im sure you have noticed people have been waiting for quite some time for your next masterpeice. and for #¢*¿ sake armour is something that protects something else and a fortress is something which can serve as a defendable position so yes the name can simply mean it is a reinforced fortress.yours saucily (this is actually a word) Awesomesauce935.

Just want to posted up this finished Entry effect that i have been working on for the last week, I removed the other two videos as there no longer needed.

Now has random debris and impacted marks also timing has been heavily tweaked for the best effect.
