The blades are an interesting choice considering the majority of airbourne vehicles use thrusters.
yes thrusters are good but this needs to carry very heavy loads, and fans are better for that, thrusters are better for speed.
plus they look cool....

I think that the fans should be a bit deeper, fatter from the front view. As of now, they look kind of weak and make an easy target.

will you be able to see the units at the bottom like in supcom1 or will they be inside?
The SupCom2 Transport system is very different from its SC/FA Coutnerpart. They will be inside.
i hope it wont be teleporting units

I don't see the point in a transport where you can shoot off its cargo!
And seeing as they can teleport to other planets....a teleporting transport is fairly simple.
will the fanblades rotate so they get forward thrust ?
Reminds me of the Dragon Gunship from Avatar. Thay movie may have sucked hard, but damn did the humans have some cool military hardware.
yeah avatar would of been better if they took more ideas from saving private Ryan and band of brothers.
i would think that thrusters would provide more LIFT for heavier loads, but if you do go with a rotor system, i would think that the engines need to be beefed up a bit, specially the area attaching em to the body of the craft.
It has thrusters under the fans now :)
